All are fed up. Manifesto of the youth of Gaza: It has to change something!
'S MANIFESTO FOR CHANGE OF THE YOUTH OF GAZA!
26th 12. 2010
Fuck Hamas. Fuck Israel. Fuck Fatah. Fuck the UN. Fuck USA! We, the youth of Gaza, sick and tired of Israel, Hamas, the occupation, the human rights violations und der Gleichgültigkeit der internationalen Gemeinschaft!
Wir sind krank davon, in diesem politischen Kampf gefangen zu sein; krank davon, dass unschuldige Bauern in den Pufferzonen erschossen werden, weil sie sich um ihr Landkümmern; krank von bärtigen Typen, die mit ihren Gewehren , Running around sticking their abuse of power and young people to prison for the things they do demonstrate, sick of the shame-wall that separates us from the rest of our country and ourselves trapped on a piece of land the size of a postage stamp holds, ill, as are portrayed terrorists as homemade fanatics with explosives in our pockets and the evil in our eyes, sick of the apathy that comes towards us from the international community, the so-called experts, experts in to talk about their concerns and to develop resolutions but cowards in the enforcement of their agreements, we are sick and tired of living a shitty life, in one of Israel be kept in prison, to be beaten by Hamas and the rest of the world to be completely ignored.
A revolution is growing inside us, an immense dissatisfaction and frustration that will destroy us unless we find a way to channel that energy into something that can challenge the status quo and give us some kind of hope. The last drop that made our hearts tremble with frustration and hopelessness came on 30
November when Hamas came to officials Sharek Youth Forum, a leading youth organization (www.sharek.ps), with their guns, their lies and their aggressiveness, all threw out some captured Sharek and forbidden to work. A few days later, protesters were beaten in front of the building and some Sharek captured.
We really are living a nightmare in a nightmare. It is hard to find words for the pressure under which we stand. We have survived the operation Cast Lead just as Israel is very effective herausbombte the shit out of us, destroyed thousands of homes and even more lives and dreams. They were Hamas could not get rid of what had been their intention, but they have certainly forever terrified and Allen left post traumatic stress symptoms, since you can not go anywhere to run.
We are youth with severe heart. We carry in us so immense gravity that it is difficult for us to rejoice at a sunset. How can one enjoy it when dark clouds appeared on the horizon and paint bleak memories run behind our eyes when we always include them? We smile to hide the pain. We laugh to forget the war. We hope not to commit suicide on the spot. During the war we were the infallible feeling that we wanted to erase Israel from the face of the earth. During recent years, Hamas has done everything they could to control our thoughts, our behavior and our aspirations.
We are a generation of young people who are accustomed to see rockets, endure what seems an impossible task: a normal and healthy life, live and be tolerated just caused by a massive organization that has spread in our society like a malignant cancer, the chaos and all living cells, all thoughts and dreams kill effectively, and paralyzed with their terror regime, the people. Not to mention the prison in which we live, a prison that is maintained by a so-called democratic country.
History repeats itself in the most cruel way, and nobody seems to care about too. We are afraid. Here in Gaza, we are afraid to be jailed, interrogated, beaten, gefoltert, bombardiert, getötet zu werden.
GENUG! Genug Schmerz, genug Tränen, genug Leiden, genug Kontrolle, Beschränkungen, unfair justifications, terror, torture, excuses, bombings, sleepless nights, dead civilians, black memories, black future, present with chest pain, dysfunctional politics, politicians, fanatical, religious nonsense, enough captures! WE SAY STOP! This is not the future that we want!
We do three things. We want to be free. We want to be able to live a normal life. We want peace. Is that too much to ask? We are a peace movement that consists of young people in Gaza and supporters in other places, and will not rest until everyone knows in this world the truth about Gaza, and in a way that no tacit consent loud or indifference is more accepted.
This is the manifesto for change from the young people of Gaza!
We will begin to destroy the crew that surrounds ourselves, we will break out of this mental prison and regain our dignity and our self-respect. We will hold our heads high, even if we meet resistance. We will work day and night to change the miserable circumstances in which we live. We will build dreams, where we meet walls.
